Croke Park Hours Music CPD Workshops

Our informative and hands on InService workshop aims to simplify the strands and content of the NCCA music curriculum and share strategies to enable teachers to bring the teaching of curriculum music to life. These workshops give teachers an open floor to discuss the challenges they are
faced with when teaching music, and encourage the group to offer solutions to one another. At the end of each workshop teachers are encouraged to create a termly music scheme to implement in their classroom.

These Workshops Aim to:
  • create and share a set of interactive, educational and fun activities that can be taught by classroom teachers and enjoyed by the children
  • explain the strands and elements of the music curriculum
  • enable schools to develop a school plan for music
