Our Programmes

In 2011, Mobile Music School was founded with a vision tailored to Secondary Schools. Our journey began with transition year drumming workshops and after-school instrument lessons. While we’ve grown and evolved since then, our core mission has remained unwavering: to immerse everyone in hands-on, performance-based music-making workshops.

For secondary schools, we offer two services. First, our Drumming Workshop provides students with an opportunity to explore and enhance their drumming skills. These workshops cater to Transition Year students, JCSP cohorts, LCA groups, and special events like wellness week and culture week. Second, our Musicians for Musicals service offers comprehensive support for full-scale performances.

At Mobile Music School, we have a special place in our hearts for primary schools. We’re passionate about offering programmes and classes that go beyond traditional music education. All our programmes are led by experienced, qualified tutors who understand the unique needs of schools and students. We know the importance of using the correct language and frameworks, such as WALT and WILF, to create a significant impact. Our programmes also embrace differentiation, ensuring every child in your class is engaged and challenged while enhancing their musical skills.

We offer interactive and fun music workshops for a whole host of events in places like libraries, art centres and youth clubs, along with community events, corporate family days, music festivals and kids camps.

Rest assured, we’ll supply everything needed and make any necessary adaptations to meet your venue’s requirements and the age levels of your participants.

Experienced at producing concerts and entertainment, our ensembles have performed for thousands of children in a variety of settings, including schools, libraries, events and concert halls.

Recent highlights include bringing a 30-piece orchestra into 35 schools in Dublin 15, performing each year at the Toddler Take Over event in Draíocht, bringing our 2-piece Trad Sessions production into libraries for Culture Night and into schools for Seachtain na Gaeilge along with letting our 5 piece brass band entertain children outdoors in school yards during Covid.

We work on behalf of schools, arts centres and organisations, libraries and event planners.
