In 2011, Mobile Music School was founded with a vision tailored to Secondary Schools. Our journey began with transition year drumming workshops and after-school instrument lessons. While we’ve grown and evolved since then, our core mission has remained unwavering: to immerse everyone in hands-on, performance-based music-making workshops.
For secondary schools, we offer two services. First, our Drumming Workshop provides students with an opportunity to explore and enhance their drumming skills. These workshops cater to Transition Year students, JCSP cohorts, LCA groups, and special events like wellness week and culture week. Second, our Musicians for Musicals service offers comprehensive support for full-scale performances.

One-day drumming workshops
Give your students a unique experience with one of our drumming workshops, perfect for Transition Years, JCSP cohorts, LCA groups and school events such as wellness week and culture week. We’ve even done workshops with teachers over the years.
Over an 80-minute session, one of our expert tutors will help your students delve into the world of drumming.
Students will develop their timing, improve their rhythm, and learn deeply about the world of music and drumming whilst experiencing how much fun it is to drum as part of a group.
And when all is done, students will perform an end-of-workshop performance to display their new-found drumming abilities.
We bring everything needed for the workshop to take place. All that we need is students, a room and a chair for each participant. During a workshop, we can accommodate up to 28 pupils.

Musicians for Musicals
Perform your school's best musical with Mobile Music School!
We provide schools with musicians for their school musicals each year.
We work with the best and most professional session musicians in Ireland.
Rather than searching for the perfect musicians and accompanists to make your school musical successful, the Mobile Music School can act as a booking agent. We book all the musicians for you, meaning you have the best talent and have only one point of contact.
We share the music with each musician before the band call and guide you on how to best structure and rehearse the musical.
Before the band call, we can provide you with an accompanist to rehearse with the soloists and chorus.
Furthermore, we can facilitate a workshop with your cast to share with them lots of tips and tricks to make the musical amazing!
