Here at the Mobile Music School, we had a great September/October 2021 with our programmes and workshops for schools! We hit the ground running in late August with our annual training day, and have resumed face to face classes since. Our music tutors were very busy delivering music classes and workshops for schools nationwide! Schools visited
In block 1, we were delighted to have worked in 21 schools over 9 counties!
Hocus Pocus Workshops
This October, we offered our ‘Hocus Pocus’ Halloween themed workshops, both online via Zoom and in person. Our fantastic tutor Karen facilitated these workshops, and did an amazing job. These workshops proved to be so successful, that we have decided to continue them as an option for schools next year.
New Team Members
We were delighted to welcome new members Niamh O’Connor, Aoibhin Redmond, Lorna McDonnell and Paul Byrne to our team! We had decided to expand our team for 2021/22, and are delighted to welcome some brand new team members on board. Each of these tutors have brought something new to the Mobile Music School, and have been doing a great job so far!
Team Building Workshops
We were delighted to be invited to Swords Community College on September 2nd for a Team Building Workshop! MMS Tutor Niall led the workshops, which were based on African and Samba drumming styles. During the team building workshop, the teachers of Swords Community College managed to cover a wide range of material. This material included including extensive ear training and instrument technique. The staff in Swords CC enjoyed the day so much that we were delighted to be asked back the following week!
