The year 2020/21 was definitely an unusual one, but here at the Mobile Music School, we still managed to have some incredible highlights throughout the year. Going online, and then resuming face to face classes, we had our share of changes this year, but thanks to our fantastic team, and amazing customers, we managed to have one of our busiest years yet! Schools visited
In 2020/21, we were delighted to have worked in 109 schools over 17 counties!
Online Workshops
This year, we offered online Zoom workshops to libraries and schools nationwide. Our themes this year for the workshops were ‘Elf on the Shelf’, Crinniu Na Nog, and Seachtain na Gaeilge. Our online workshops proved to be so successful, that we have decided to continue them as an option for schools next year.
Our new Booking System
We developed a brand new online booking system, to make bookings for our clients even easier.
New Team Members
We were delighted to welcome new members Shane Cavanagh, Roisin Lane, Niall Preston, Mary Walsh and Caroline Barnes! We are expanding our team for 2021/22, and are really looking forward to welcome some brand new team members on board.
Covid Measures

Our Project with Dublin City Council
This year, we developed a brand new project in collaboration with Dublin City Council. Our fabulous tutor Karen taught adults to drum across a range of materials, including Pilates balls! This project was a huge success, and we were delighted to have been asked back for another set of workshops!
Our Bodhrán Workshops
This year, we have developed and implemented some brand new Bodhrán workshops for schools. We bought plenty of brand new bodhrán’s, and the students have been loving them so far!

PLAY- School Yard Project
This year, we developed brand new and exciting project! This project consisted of school yard performances we did across 5 different schools in collaboration with Draiocht. Our talented tutors came down to the school yard, and played music for the classes, over 27 days in total. Later on, the musicians had a Zoom Q&A with the children.
