Let’s Drum
An interactive, hands-on drumming workshop that introduces children to a range of percussion instruments from different parts of the world. These workshops cover rhythms and patterns that are commonly heard in African and Samba drumming or modern music. During a workshop every child gets the opportunity to perform on a range of different instruments, with each workshop culminating in an end of workshop performance of the material covered
Aims:
- give students an opportunity to learn about and perform on a range of drums and percussion instruments
- give children the opportunity to learn about the importance of the beat
- give children the opportunity to learn about and perform a range of rhythms suitable for their class group, culminating in a group performance

Let's Bodhrán
Our bodhrán workshops immerse children into the world of traditional Irish music. During our bodhrán workshops, each child gets the use of their own bodhrán. Workshops teach children the basic techniques required to play the bodhrán. Children learn how to play a jig and a reel. The workshops also include rhythm work, body percussion and musical games. These workshops culminate in a performance of the various different rhythms covered during the workshop.
Aims:
- give students an opportunity to learn about and play a bodhrán
- give children the opportunity to learn about the different types of rhythm in Irish Traditional music and dance
- give children the opportunity to learn about and perform a range of rhythms suitable for their class group, culminating in a group performance.

Let's Explore
Based on the 3 core strands of the primary school music curriculum, our Let’s Explore workshops immerse children into the world of music. These workshops include musical games, listening activities, rhythm, percussion instruments, action songs, composition and song singing. Depending on the tutor who comes to your school, they may choose to lean to into some aspects a little more than others, but overall there is a good balance in the content.
Aims:
- give every child a solid and practical introduction to the world of music, musical terminology and self-expression
- increase the level of interest and engagement of music as a subject in schools
- give primary school teachers a set of practical activities and skills that they can incorporate into their own music lessons

Let’s Sing
One of our most popular music workshops for primary schools, ‘Let’s Sing’ is an excellent way of encouraging and improving each child’s singing abilities.
Our singing workshops explore the voice through games and activities, investigate the importance of breathing and posture, and develop each pupil’s aural awareness. During the workshop the children learn a song, with the session culminating in a performance of the song learnt.
Aims:
- to explore the sounds of the voice and proper singing technique
- to learn about vocal tone, pitch, dynamics and rhythm
- to give every child the opportunity to perform in a group performance that culminates in bringing all of the material covered and skills developed together

Let's Perform
Through integrating music with drama and movement, our musical theatre workshops for primary schools give children a taste of the exciting world of musical theatre. The workshops culminate in an end of session performance. Although all our workshops are highly interactive and energetic, each section is conducted in a calm, fun and non-pressurized environment.
Aims:
- develop self-expression and self-confidence through music, drama and movement
- give students the opportunity to learn about vocal tone, pitch, posture, dynamics and rhythm
- give children the opportunity to perform in a group performance that culminates in bringing all of the material covered and skills developed together
