Let's Explore
Based on the 3 core strands of the primary school music curriculum, our Let’s Explore programme develops a set of transferable musical skills within each child, that they can later utilize if and when they begin to learn a musical instrument. Simply put, this programme develops a firm musical foundation in every child. The content covered includes musical games, listening activities, rhythm, music notation, percussion instruments, introduction to the orchestra, action songs, composition and song singing. Depending on the tutor who comes to your school, they may choose to lean into some aspects a little more than others, but overall there is a good balance in the content
Aims:
- introduce children to the world of music and give every child a solid set of transferable musical skills
- encourage pupils to express themselves through music and movement and internalize the musical concepts covered through structured and free activities
- give classroom teachers a set of practical activities and skills that they can incorporate into their own music classes

Let’s Drum
Our Let’s Drum programme is essentially a crash course in percussion playing and drumming. Through rhythms, rhymes, tongue twisters and music notation every pupils learns a range of rhythms from different disciplines such as African drumming, samba drumming and modern music. Every child learns how to read music notation in such a way that the children don’t even realise they’re learning! Regardless of the tutor that comes to your school, overall there will be a good balance in the content delivered.
Aims:
- give students an opportunity to learn about and perform on a range of drums and percussion instruments
- give children the opportunity to learn about the beat, how to perform in a musical ensemble and how to read and create music notation
- give children the opportunity to learn about and perform a range of rhythms suitable for their class group culminating in many group performances

Ukulele
Our 6 week ukulele programme acts as an introduction to the ukulele. During the programme, every child learns a range of chords that will enable them to be able to perform the songs we teach during the classes. Many of the songs can be differentiated so as some children are playing the melody line and others playing the harmony. This ensures every child comes away from the programme with a sense of achievement.

Let’s Sing
Our short singing programme for primary schools develops each child’s ability to sing in a group setting. Classes explore pitch, vocal tone and make use of the tonic sol-fa. During each class pupils learn and perform a wide repertoire of songs, develop their aural awareness through vocal games and explores other musical elements such as the beat, rhythm, timbre, pitch and harmony. This programme culminates in a performance of the songs covered during classes.
Aims:
- explore the sounds of the voice and singing technique
- learn about the following musical elements beat, rhythm, pitch, harmony, timbre and dynamics
- give every child the opportunity to perform in a group performance that culminates in bringing all of the material covered and skills developed together

Let's Perform
Through integrating music with drama and movement, our musical theatre programme for primary schools gives children a taste of the exciting world of musical theatre. During classes children are taught vocal technique, correct breathing and posture, vocal projection and expressive movement. Each sessions combines these elements as the children learn and perform a section from a well-known musical culminating in the creation of a “Mini Musical”.
Aims:
- develop self-expression and self-confidence through music, drama and movement
- give pupils the opportunity to learn about vocal tone, pitch, posture, dynamics and rhythm
- give every child the opportunity to perform in a group performance that culminates in combining all of the material and elements covered
