When teaching music education in primary schools, we find that an interactive, educational and fun approach works well for all students. For part 3 of our singing in the classroom how-to guide, we will be showing you how to do a simple, fun-filled vocal warm up with your class.

Music Education in Primary Schools – Vocal Warm-ups

  • Start off slow by asking the class to hum along together
  • Now practice your range by humming from low to high notes
  • Once you’ve mastered that, focus on humming the 5 note scale
