Here at the Mobile Music School, we’re famous for our drumming workshops! However, we actually deliver a range of different workshops to schools, libraries, youth reach facilities and events throughout the year! Further, each week, our tutors are working hard across the country to provide high quality music education to students. This amazing work continues on through the summer, and we have so many different options for schools, events and libraries to continue on their musical journey with us. What workshops are we offering for the Summer Programmes?
For Summer Camps, we are offering either our Let’s Explore, or Let’s Drum workshops.
Drumming Workshops
One of our most popular music workshops in schools is Let’s Drum. Through games, activities and performing, our drumming workshops allow students to explore the percussion family. Further, these drumming workshops also develop their understanding of rhythm and improve their rhythmical ability. Also, during these workshops, students perform as part of a drumming ensemble.
These sessions also incorporate station learning. Further, they also ensure that each child gets an opportunity to play four instruments. These workshops culminate in a live end-of-workshop performance. This performance combines the different rhythms and activities covered during the sessions.
Let’s Explore Workshops
Further, our Let’s Explore workshops are always a huge hit as well! These fun-filled, activity-based music workshops explore the world of music-making in an open and relaxed environment. In addition, together with interactive games and hands-on learning, the children learn new musical skills and explore the world of music together. With every music lesson we deliver, our goal is to fuel students’ creativity with engaging content.
How do the workshops work?
One of our tutors can come to a kids camp and work with up to 4 groups of children. On the day each group will participate in an interactive and fun based workshop facilitated by one of our experienced tutors. We can facilitate up to 24 pupils in a session. Further, depending on the number of groups or budget we can offer a 45 minute or 60 minute session. Once it’s dry we can also deliver the workshop outdoors if desired. However, if it rains on the day our tutors are happy to deliver the workshop indoors.
