Here at the Mobile Music School, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality TY workshops. Our ‘Let’s Drum’ workshops prove to be one of our most popular TY workshops every year- however there’s a lot more that we offer! Each year, we travel nationwide with a range of different TY workshops, delivering engaging and interactive content across all age groups. However, you may have some questions about how our workshops actually work! Q – What workshops do you offer?
Currently, our TY workshops are our Let’s Drum, Let’s Sing or Let’s Perform (our musical theatre workshop).
Q – How many students can you take at a time?
We can take a maximum of 32 students.
Q – How long do the workshops last?
Each workshop lasts 80 minutes.
Q – What year groups do you work with?
We work with 1st years through to 6th years and can be involved with all types of initiatives and programmes such as JCSP initiatives, TY modules, wellness week, Arts Week, Culture Week etc.
Q – How many classes can you accommodate in a day?
We can accommodate a maximum of 3 x 80 minute or 4 x 60 minute workshops in a day.
Q – How long do short programmes last?
A short programme consists of weekly 80 minute classes run over a 4 week block.
Q – Where do your classes take place in schools?
Drumming and bodhrán workshops take place in the school hall or in a large empty room. Every student who attends the workshop will need a chair.
Singing and Musical Theatre workshops are to take place in a room with a smartboard & speaker that our tutor can use.
