JCSP Workshops

Our once-off workshops give students an immersion into the world of music that incorporates activity-based learning. We regularly work with JCSP groups. Upon completion, JCSP students will have gained the following statements:

Social Competence: Listening CC17
Social Competence: Talking CC18
Working with others CC3
Musical Statement (MU2)

Over an 80-minute session, one of our expert tutors will help your students delve into the world of drumming.

Students will develop their timing, improve their rhythm, and learn deeply about the world of music and drumming whilst experiencing how much fun it is to drum as part of a group.

At the end of the workshop, students will perform an end-of-workshop performance to display their new-found drumming abilities.

We bring everything needed for the workshop to take place. We only need students, a room and a chair for each participant. During a workshop, we can accommodate up to 28 pupils.
