Why Are Secondary School Workshops So Important?

Many secondary schools students will have had little to no experience of music performance, different instruments, or even musical understanding. Our secondary school workshops allow students to explore the world of music that they potentially have never explored before. This in turn can lead students to discover new hobbies and passions they could carry with them for life.

Students are required to work as a team during our workshops. The social interaction aspects allow students to develop trust in self, others, and the process. Working as an ensemble can forage friendships, and develop a team building element of the workshops.

Performing in front of the class can bring students out of their shells, therefore improving their self confidence. Anyone who has ever taken state examinations will be able to testify that they prove to be very stressful! Students can face a lot of stress and pressure when exam time approaches.
