Over the past number of years, the Mobile Music School has combined its singing workshops for schools with a recording session to bring our Recording and Performing Workshops to schools.

These workshop are designed to suit the needs of each of the schools that makes a booking. We have completed the following projects that gives an idea of how we can shape the recording and performing workshop for your school.

Workshops for Primary School 

We recorded three classes in a primary school singing two songs each. The songs were learned over a six week singing workshop series. The children performed the songs they had mastered at a school concert. We produced a CD that was pre-sold and collected on the night of the concert to parents. The sales of the CDs help finance the cost of running the singing programme and recording session.

Workshops for Secondary Schools

In another school we worked with transition year students for three consecutive mornings. On the first and second morning the group learned how to sing together in harmonies and develop a vocal group. By the second morning the class had learned three songs. On the third morning the songs that were learned were recorded and each of the students received a copy of the recording.
