Gary’s guitar students in Stratford NS have been doing brilliant work this term. They’re working on more open chords and are starting to sound really great.

Our beginners are working on major scales, while the more advanced students are focusing on barre chords and pentatonic scales. The class groups are having great fun covering lots of great songs like Yellow Submarine, Dancing in the Moonlight, Chasing Cars and Wonderwall!

Gary is also helping his students understand the advantage of knowing a piece off by heart. They have started an in-the-round performance section in their group, which gives each student a chance to perform and demonstrate what they have been practicing during the week.

Here at the Mobile Music School, we love to see students’ self-esteem growing week-on-week. Their confidence in performing improves the more they practice in a calm, relaxed, group environment.
