The wonderful new class we are working with in Holy Trinity SNS show great potential and are really starting to sound good.

This month they’ve concentrated on the sounds of the orchestra by exploring the families, the role of the conductor and the role of the composer. 

They’ve begun including dynamics when performing call and response rhythms and are showing improvement with the beat each week. So far we have practiced sending an Adagio and Allegro beat around the classroom from table to table!

Last month the children learnt “Ho Hey” by the Lumineers and have since began to learn Ireland’s Call, which they’re singing very proudly.

Next up for these classes over the weeks to come is to play some activities on our set of percussion instruments.
