General Manager Shay Lally

Shay founded the Mobile Music School in 2011. For the past 8 years, he has expanded the business to today, where we deliver interactive and fun-filled music programmes and workshops nationwide.⠀
As a percussion tutor, a highlight for Shay when delivering a drumming workshop is “turning a group with no drumming experience into a drumming ensemble who can perform together.”

Projects Assistant and Music Teacher Clare

Clare is our Projects Assistant. She manages our social media accounts, updates our website, creates blogs, creates, amends and improves lesson plans, organises the musical instruments and resources needed for each programme and is the brain behind the Mobile Music School going online.⠀
Clare also works as a music tutor with us, delivering Singing, Musical Theatre and Let’s Explore programmes and workshops.  Clare has a great rapport with all the students, and loves delivering the programmes and workshops.⠀

Music Teacher Sophie

Sophie is one of our fantastic music tutors. She delivers Ukulele, Learn and Explore, Percussion, Recorder, Singing and Musical Theatre programmes. Sophie has been with us for a few years, and consistently gets exceptional feedback from schools and teachers.
Sophie is an expert at classroom management, and recently trained our tutors on good classroom management at our annual training day!⠀

Guitar Teacher Mark

Mark is one of our brilliant guitar tutors here at the Mobile School. He delivers group and individual guitar lessons in schools, and every year students eagerly return to Mark’s lessons. ⠀
A graduate of BIMM Dublin, Mark has worked in the music education sector since 2015, in both management and teaching capacities.  Mark likes to focus his music lessons on fun, inclusive learning, while aspiring for higher ideals such as authenticity, expression and self esteem throughout his student’s development.⠀

Guitar Teacher Alan

Alan is one of our brilliant guitar tutors here at the Mobile School. He delivers group and individual guitar lessons in schools, and is ever popular with students. A graduate of BIMM Dublin, Alan is a fantastic guitarist, and passes on his knowledge and talents to all his students.⠀

Music Teacher Kevin

Kevin is one of our brilliant music tutors here at the Mobile Music School. A real all-rounder, Kevin delivers classroom music, ukulele, singing, percussion and learn and explore programmes. To top it all off, Kevin even delivers some of our programmes as gaeilge! We receive excellent feedback from every programme Kevin delivers,and we’re really lucky to have him!

Violin Teacher Nora

Nora is one of our brilliant music tutors here at the Mobile Music School. Nora has been a part of the Mobile Music School team since 2017 and teaches classroom violin. Nora is an expert at working with groups of children and developing their skills as musicians. Nora also successfully prepares students for the Cara awards each year.⠀

Music Teacher Carrie

Carrie joined the Mobile Music School team in 2019, and delivers our classroom programmes, drumming workshops and after school programmes in Cork and Tipperary. Carrie is a graduate of WIT and UCC. Her can-do attitude and flexible approach to working in schools means that each of the programmes she delivers are always a big success!

Piano Teacher Graeme

Graeme is on his second year teaching piano with the Mobile Music School. He studied jazz piano at the Newpark Music Centre, graduating with an honours degree in music performance. Graeme is an active member of the Irish music scene.⠀
