Group Guitar Classes

Group guitar aims to develop each students technical and musical ability on the guitar. Through a series of technical exercises, performing along with backing tracks, learning songs and pieces of music, each student’s confidence and ability to play the guitar significantly increases. Guitar classes are aimed equally at beginners and improvers and give every student regular performance opportunities.

Other Aims include:
  • providing a fundamental understanding of musical concepts via the guitar
  • establishing a firm understanding of melody, harmony and rhythm and their relationship to the guitar
  • utilising the guitar as a tool for personal growth and as an opportunity for extra-curricular participation

One-To-One Tuition

Tuition in this area consists of a weekly 30-minute one-to-one lesson on Violin, Guitar, Piano or Singing. Lessons aim to develop each students proficiency on their chosen instrument. Ideal for beginners, improvers and advanced performers alike, these lessons aim to incorporate the musical interests of pupils. Students can choose to learn for fun or work towards grade exam.

  • develop the technical proficiency of every student on their chosen instrument
  • develop each students understanding of music theory and music notation
  • give students a life-long love of music

The Mobile Music School has been offering music lessons in our school since 2011. Since this time the Mobile Music School have proven to offer professional and well organised lessons, which have been enjoyed by many of our pupils as an extra curricular activity.
