The fun continues with our music programmes for primary schools! Since September, Mobile Music tutor Sophie has been delivering weekly music lessons in Rush NS. Our 8-week music programme with 3rd and 6th class was a huge success. We have recently commenced our second 8-week block with 2nd and 4th class. It’s off to a flying start!

‘Learn & Explore’ – Music Programmes for Primary Schools

These fun-filled, activity-based music lessons explore the world of music-making in an open and relaxed environment. Together with interactive games and hands-on learning, the children learn new musical skills and explore the world of music together. With every music lesson we deliver, our goal is to fuel students’ creativity with engaging content.

October Update

Nearing the end of our 8-week programme with 3rd and 6th class, 6th class were busy creating ostinatos and chants. The students had a ball performing them for the class, using their voices and percussion instruments based around the theme of animals. In groups of 6, each group given an animal and they create chant about that animal. To finish up this fun-filled music programme, ‘Musician of the Month’ was awarded in each class.

They have even began performing them at different dynamic levels and tempos. 4th class have been learning to sing ‘Why Shouldn’t My Goose’ and ‘Donkeys and Carrots’ and have performed them in a round.
