Here at the Mobile Music School, Gaeilge is very important to us. We place great emphasis on integrating the Irish language into our workshops and programmes as a way of improving language skills through the means of music.

Over the past number of years our ‘Let’s Drum’ and ‘Let’s Sing’ workshops have been enjoyed by children and students of all ages in both primary and secondary schools, including gaelscoileanna and gaelcholáistí.

We have decided to fuse all this passion, experience and enjoyment together and offer bilingual drumming – ‘Let’s Drum’ – and bilingual singing – ‘Let’s Sing’ – workshops to schools.

Our fluent gaelgóirí Shay, Emily and Fidelma will be delivering music workshops that focus on the integration of Gaeilge. Our aim is to share our passion for music making, and to enable students of all ages to come away from each session with an addictional cúpla focal.

We are certain your pupils will enjoy our workshops and that they will therefore be more interested in engaging with the Irish language.
